My name is Annemarie, born on March 8, 1971, in Leiden. Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes mellitus at age 7, and life began with finger pricks and insulin injections, which, simply put, is awful for a child. After the injections came the pen, and after 8 years, as the proud owner of a Medtronic 640G insulin pump, I switched to the MyLife Ypso pump in combination with the FSL3 in September 2024. How wonderful it was when, in January 2020, the Free Style Libre was covered by my health insurance—no more finger pricks! I sometimes had 12 a day!

Because I believe life isn't always black and white (which these devices are), I started looking for something to brighten up life with diabetes, like stickers for the devices. I also try to add handy items for diabetics to the webshop, like adhesive wipes and adhesive removal wipes, or cheerful bags to clip onto your bikini or bra. I also stock mysweetstich fixation patches and ExpressionMed's cheerful patches! In 2024, I started developing stickers for the Ypsopomp, along with corresponding sensor stickers. I've added many gadgets to the webshop, such as keychains, bags, fanny packs (from Zuckerschmuck in Germany), cooler bags, and much more!
